...and Blue.

Excellent comp and drama in the first one, and I like that mood in the second one. It definitely is a "Mood Indigo." Honestly, Glacier is my favorite place in all of the lower 48. I wish I could get back there again. Maybe next fall. Nice work, Jeff!

Very nice. B&W is perfect for the light and mood in #1.

The first is very nice! I really like all the hanging clouds and the ridge fading to the right. Minor points, but noticed the clipping of the tree top's reflection and the white 'stick?' in the LLC

Jeff, to be honest I cannot get excited about the blue one. I do love the black and white image, however. Doug's suggestions are good ones but that is a mighty fine image regardless.

Thanks for your comments, here's a repost of the Two Medicine shot.

The B&W is stunning! The blue is interesting but it doesn't quite all come together for me.

I love the BW but I am always partial to them so it's no surprise. My only comment would be to maybe crop a little off on the right, maybe even a square crop. It seems like the right side doesn't really add much and the main interest is the mountain and the great pine trees. Just my 2 cents. You have a great shot here :toast:

I suddenly feel so inadequate... They're both killers, Jeff, but that b&w is just a mind-blower.

Wow - this is awesome.

Wow--#1 is SWEET! Personally, i like the original, the more subdued contrast fits the mood better i think.

This is a superb b&w image, Jeff!!
I cannot make up my mind between the two reposts, but I like the suggestions that Doug mentioned incorporated here.
I can see a square crop, but I like the way the rising ridge on the right balances out the rise on the left.
I'm now leaning a bit toward the first version. Perhaps leaving the extra contrast on the mountain alone would suffice?
I really do think that this is one of the best b&w images I've seen in some time now. Congratulations!!
