This is great! Didn't even see the second web at first.

Wicked! I love the subject and dark mood here. To be super picky i wish the web on the right were more prominent/front and center cause its the coolest part of the photo, and it gets a little lost on the rhs. But overall, this is great!

The 'development' you chose works perfectly for such a haunted looking image. And the word 'haunted' would have come to mind regardless of the holiday. Man, Yellowstone is about the last place in the world I would have guessed as the location here. Big, big kudos for that fact alone!
Thanks everyone for feedback. Stan, I had the same exact feeling about that right web so thanks for bringing it up. Unfortunately I can't crop it any other way so I'll play around with selective burning or curves to make the web pop a little more.
John, Yellowstone is quickly becoming my new favorite playground. The potential for the unexpected is limitless.

11 repliesOne of my recent fall images from Yellowstone. Probably one of my favorite mornings of the entire trip.
Just a heads up, I purposely processed this dark to enhance the spooky mood and bring more attention to the back lit spiderwebs.
Comments always appreciated
