I got a question on cleaning the sensor of the above camera. I am trying finding any sort of cleaning mode on the camera but can't. Is there a manual cleaning mode on the camera (mirror up, shutter curtain to blow and artic butterfly the sensor)? I'm not seeing a function on the menu to get there.
(Edit - I should add that this is a friends's camera - if the functionality exists on this camera, it seems to be placed differently than the 10D-20D-... and 5D series I am used to)
Thanks.

I checked the manual on Canon's website. There is a section on manual cleaning, and references to having the sensor cleaned by Canon technicians, but I could find anything about self-cleaning. Check page 173 of the manual for instructions on manual cleaning.

THanks - that is what I was looking for. Apparently there are two manuals on the Canon website - one is a quick reference manual and the second is the full manual. Once you mentioned page 173 I realized what I did.
