Nice, though i find the colours in the water distract from the bird.

Hi Kev

I have just had a look at your website and your other Dipper shots that you have taken recently. There are some excellent images there, you are building a nice portfolio on this bird. I particularly like the shot of the Dipper in the rain gathering nesting material.

For this shot I like the composition and the swirl effect of the water in the background. For me the water is not a distraction. Maybe a tad soft around the head/eye area?

cheers

Sean

Hi Kevin,

I like this alot. I think all colours add up to make a good image. Sadly my weekend up in the Peaks I never had time to try for these lovely birds.

The head/eye looks sharp on my monitor

Nice One

Regards

Rob

Me too, like the look the bird is giving you and the detail looks good, One of the best images of a bird I have yet to see..

I find the patterns in the water very attractive but not quite sure on the bird's posture,he looks as if he's got his eye on you and is a little wary of your presence.Perhaps a more relaxed look with the bird looking more towards the water would work well.
