The December edition of Arizona Highways is devoted to what their staff has chosen as the best 50 photos they have ever published.
I'm sure there will be much debate over their choices, but the collection is incredible, and worth a look.

It is indeed a fine collection, like they said in the magazine there will be a lot of fuss about what is and isn't in the magazine. I think they did a really good job getting some of the more famous images from the past. Though, like others, there should have been other photos selected (IMO). Still a very inspiring issue. Also fellow NPN member Chikku baiju has one of those 50 so a big congrats to Chikku and his accomplishment.

I saw the promo on the AZHM website when i was looking at the daily photo. It must have been difficult to narrow to just 50 from the multiudes over the years, and certainly many worthy images had to be left out. Looking forward to picking up a copy.

Came back from the local "Rob-n-Run" with a copy of the issue. After looking at the chosen 50, the front cover image struck me most. Perhaps so, as I enjoy Atkinson paintings also.
Congrats to Chikku and Shane for having their excellent images of Antelope Canyon and Grand Falls selected.
