No idea what species. Taken at Dunham Massey last week whilst clearing R. ponticum from Headman's Covert. No apologies for posting an anaglyph.
As usual red/cyan glasses to view in 3D.
I know anaglyphs are not ideal. It would be great if I could post the image in a format that can be read by a 3D TV/monitor. Is there any chance of that? It is 2011 after all.

sadly I no longer have my 3d glasses (they belonged to my 4 year old son who seems to have destroyed them ). I can therefore only judge this as a 2D image and would prefer to see a more attractive specimen with a bit of space behind it (which would presumably also enhance the 3D effect).
No idea either, so I'll give the mushroom soup a miss tonight thank you very much .

If you've a few hundred $ going spare, then I'm sure Jim would be more than happy to oblige and get a quote for the re-programming for you In the meantime, I guess we'll all have to make do with finding some 3D glasses from somewhere

Thanks for the comments gentlemen.
Matt, get the glasses and you'll see there is plenty of 3D effect already.
Nick, if l Jim will set up 3D viewing I'll guarantee my next 3 year subscription.
3D has taken over completely in my photographic life, (especially the challenge of 3D macro stills and video) so producing and viewing 2D images is becoming less and less appealing. That is not to say I don't appreciate 2D images it is just that I find the added dimension presents a greater challenge and provides, for me, far more satisfying results, when I get it right..

Despite the 3D effect (I bought my glasses from the same site as JR I think), I still find the sticks/vegetation behind the fungus to be a bit distracting - 3D makes them stand out as well!

Good luck for your first 3D lecture, John. I hope it's being videoed (in 3D of course)
PH is entitled to his opinion. I chose to focus so it would come forward out of the screen, for dramatic effect and to take emphasis away from the distracting BG. It obviously didn't work for David.
