Mountain Goat on Mount Evans
I might as well empty my good shots all at once javascript: x() This is a shot of a mountain goat on Mount Evans taken about 3 years ago. It is one I really like and it won a 2nd prize in a Sigma photo contest, the prize was a very nice 150-500 mm OS lens. Some times mother nature, the weather and the animals all work to help the photographer (usually not!), this is one of the time they worked for me. As you can see it was quite windy on Mt Evans that day.

Nice capture, Larry, he's a very handsome fellow, and the framing and comp leave no doubt who's the star of this shot!

Really like the clouds and the sky in the background. Agree the image is a little tight.

I like the hills in the distance. Definitely gives a feeling of the high elevation of where this was taken. Nice.
