Country Autumn
I went out about a week or two ago in an attempt to catch some of the waning colors of fall. Someone told me about this cute barn that is not far past the Cedar Creek Grist Mill in Woodland and I was able capture a few early morning shots. This not my usual style as you can see this version appears "over worked" with the NIK filters I applied. Typically I may apply one or maybe two filters to enhance an images assets but in this case I got carried away by using 4 NIK filters. I used NIKs Color Efex Pro 4, brighten/darken center, glamour glow, indian summer and vignette blur. Most were applied in very minimal doses. The finished image as shown as become a favorite, with it's soft and dreamy look I am reminded of the painting technique used by Thomas Kincaid and his landscape paintings.

canon 7D
canon 20mm f2.8
F/2.8 +1 1/1250 ISO 800

It looks almost like a Holga shot which means it's rather cool! I am a huge fan of Nik Software's products and this is a nice application there of!

A picturesque scene dramatized well with application of the filters. I do love the "painterly" artistic result. Kudos on pushing your envelope a bit out of the comfort zone.
