Here's a mule deer buck with his nose to the ground in search of Does. The rutting activity is getting strong and has always been my favorite time of year for shooting Wildlife, especially my favorite species...Mule deer.

Cool--great DOF and perspective! The catch-light on the left eye really adds a lot here. Why are they your favs (as opposed to elk, etc)?

Excellent pose and limited DOF.Exposed and 'developed' perfectly, too.
I almost prefer the sky cropped out for a better aspect ratio and keeping this simpler.

Great light. Really like the look he is giving as well.

Wonderful low angle. The foreground grasses really draw you into the nose and rest of the face of this buck. I like the inclusion of the blue sky and the nice golden bokeh of the grasses behind the deer too. He has an interesting look of curiosity to him doesn't he!
