Another White Pelican
This shot was taken on a different day when the sun was behind a thin layer of clouds. The light was diffuse and really enveloped the pelicans. There were about 15 birds this day and it was hard to isolate an individual bird. Here is one that almost got there.

Bird and reflection are awesome--comp feels a bit cramped to me on the sides.

Your input on others' work here is most welcome at anytime.

Thanks Stan: The comp is a little tight because I was trying to not include other birds in the photo. You can see the reflection of a bird above this guy and one coming in on the right side of the frame. There were about 15 birds in a small area, but I am not complaining. I have not seen that many pelican in one place very often.

Nice reflection and nice details in the whites.

The cropping seems OK to me. I can tell there were a few other birds around (the white reflection above this one's head is a good sign of that) and I like how you zoomed in on this interesting one.

Very nice portrait! That is some wierd stuff growing on it's beak.

Nice job preserving the details in the whites. While I can tell that there are other birds nearby, it doesn't bother me one bit.
