Should I upgrade?

I'm currently shooting with a canon 7d, but I am considering possibly upgrading to a 5d2. I have been shooting landscape photos much more than before and have been shooting wildlife less (although I did mainly choose the 7d to photograph birds and wildlife). I own all L lenses so I don't need to worry about compatibility issues with lenses. Would this be a good idea? Or should I wait a few months to see if they release a 5d mark III? Some of the things I have already considered is the frame rate for the times I do shoot wildlife. I've been wanting to switch to a full frame camera for quite some time, but I can never justify the decision. Any help or tips would be appreciated.

The advantage of the 5DII is the full frame. The APS-C sensor of the 7D doesn't take full advantage of EF lenses, especially wide angle. I've seen good prices on the 5DII lately, but it is a design that is getting a little long in the tooth. I'm guessing that its sequel will be released after the first of the year, so I'm holding out.

The new 1D-X has a full frame sensor with a frame rate of 12 FPS. I wouldn't be surprised if some of that technology rubs off on the next version of the 5D.

I believe there are many more pixels on the subjet with the 7D than the 5DMK2. With landscapes you are (mostly) shooting low ISO. The leveling function in Live View should also be an advantage of the 7D. I would wait until the 5DMK3 comes out then decide.

Buck- That 1DX looks like a workhorse of a camera, but I don't see myself shelling out that kind of cash anytime soon ha. Ideally that would be the perfect fit for me though.

Ed- I do like the live view on the 7d and it helps tremendously. I suppose I'll wait and see, not in any rush to upgrade.

Peter,
For what it's worth, I've shot the 5Dii for two years & love it. I added a 7d to my bag for wildlife & was disappointed in the lack of sharpness in it vs. the 5Dii. Perhaps I'm spoiled. I shoot mostly landscapes. The live view is great with the 5Dii. The leveling display on the 7d is OK, but I use a bubble level in the hotshoe to insure level with the 5dii. I'll probably upgrade to the 5Diii when it comes out, but the current version is hard to beat for the price & features. I would imagine there will be a lot of 5Dii's available cheaply once version III comes out.

Peter,
The question is, what are your requirements for output? How large of an image are you printing regularly? I emphasize regularly because occasional large-sized printing may not be worth the upgrade cost. For anything other than large prints, or very low-light shooting, I just don't see the benefit gained from a 5DM2.
