Beautiful image Guy, love the colours of the trees especially the ones in the large forest at the back and also the shapes of the trees in the foreground. Classic autumnal shot. :toast: :toast: (There are three dust spots visible on the larger version amongst the mist, two at the bottom of the picture, one to the right and one to the left and one in the band of mist over the larger forest area just below half way up the picture on the left hand side.) Is this from a recent trip?

Very atmospheric, makes me want to stand there and smell the fresh air. :toast:

Great stuff.
Maybe try a bit off the top? No big deal.
Still looking for the spots by the way !
Cheers

Great shot Guy but I agree with John that a bit off the top will make it even better

Found one spot.

I'd agree about the cropping. Personally I think a crop to just below the top golden band of trees to leave the edge of the image bordered by the darker trees. Very nice view and the mist tops it off.

a lovely autumnal scene Guy, very well captured. The mist and the colours of the trees are very attractive. I also think it might be even better with a small crop off the top.

Gorgeous! Wish I had an eye for landscapes.

Nice colours. Might be quite interesting with a vignette too if you want to keep the pixels.

Hello Nick.

Thanks for your comment and yes this was taken recently, I like to have a couple of weeks taking landscapes around the end of October.

You are most welcome Guy. Autumn, the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness, and photography!
