I'm a sucker for black and white in situations like this, with beautiful tonality and interesting textures. I don't see a whole lot of difference between the two versions - could be my laptop. Something makes me want to crop out the ground - not sure what you think? Also, the verticals of the door look like they are leaning slightly to the right. But I think this is a beautiful image and perfect for black and white treatment.

Really prefer the second one...would correct the lean and leave the ground as it provides a logical horizontal for the door. Very strong image IMO and sepia makes it stronger.

Beautiful shot. I prefer the slight sepia toned version. Keep the ground, it anchors the image.

I also don't see very much difference between the two, but nonetheless, it's a VERY strong image, made good by the B&W conversion!

Great comp Joseph, I prefer the first image, just a little bit subtler which fits the image better.

Hmm, . . . . I like both versions. I know, that doesn't really help.

I also don't see a lot of difference in the tones while viewing in Chrome. Love the old-fashioned, weathered look and feel of the textured door and hat though!

Really like it with a little more sepia. Nice detail in the old door.
