Beautiful detail on this one, Guy. I would have preferred a little more space around the butterfly, but I guess that is a matter of personal taste.

Another fine macro image, Guy. I love the leaf like qualities of this species and the thistle perch is very nice. Agree with David re the space around flutterby.

Lots of detail and nice and sharp. The graphic qualities of the subject matter might make the image work well in monochrome too.
Personally I think there is enough space around this particular one. No nits from me.

A little more space would be nice but I also think it is fine as is due to the leaf shape of the butterfly. The detail and sharpness is spot on Guy as is the lighting. Don't get these in Scotland and have always eluded me when down in England so I am very jealous!

Interesting subject matter Guy, a little more space to the right would be nice as stated by others. Superb photo, love the sharpness and the colours.
The minor nit has been mentioned, but it is fine for presentation here... Nice one...

For me this is one of your best macro images of the year Guy - the light is striking, the BG is great and the colours work so well - plus it's super sharp - great shot

really nice Guy, I like them fairly large in the frame, particularly at this size. Pretty much perfect I would say. You do realise you've posted 2 of my bogey subjects recently - I've never managed a decent image of a Brimstone or an Orange Tip!

Superb! I vote for a little more space, but that's very minor and subjective.
