Red fox sitting in a grass pasture. Taken in July of this year. I'm unsure on the colour balance in this one and I think the central comp may not be to everyone's taste.
Techs: Canon 450D, EF 600mm f/4L, f/5.6, 1/400sec, ISO 400. Tripod and gimbal head.
Imported with ACR and processed in CS5, NR with Nik Dfine, fullframe.
Central works here... If it was mine perhaps some from the top... perhaps about an inch as presented makes a difference IMHO, it is a lovely image...

Thanks for the kind comments Phil, the crop suggestions make sense, thanks!

Position is OK for me and looks off centre anyway. My onl nit is the OOF white flower heads? above the foxes head, they are a little distracting for me. Cracking shot though. All these summery pictures are making me quite nostalgic!

Thanks Nick. Flower heads easily cloned out!

Looks good to me Paul. If you were to crop anything off the bottom, I would also clone out the prominent grass stalk on the lhs. As it is though, you don't really notice it.

Yup the LH grass stalk could go but totherwise a very pleasant image

Paul, I think the colour balance is a bit off - too much blue.

Thanks for the suggestions on the crop Pete and Bob.
Thanks Phil, I could see the balance was off when I posted this one. I've corrected the blue in a levels layer, looks a lot more natural. Thanks for your advice.

the grass is looking a bit blue but a very attractive image. I like the setting in particular.
