Some of them are great images. What is the reason for the posts?

We are creating a RMNP Cover Shot Gallery. When the photos are reposted there, they appear in the All Photos section too.

We had a suggestion from one of our members to showcase the winning images from our monthly forum contests in one place. It was a cool idea. We've had the monthly contests since December '06 but it takes some intense use of the search engine to remember what photo was selected for each theme. Since we had the space of the old regional image critique galleries open, we decided to use that place to display our contest winners (which were also put on the cover page of forum each month). I'm not sure if the other regional forums will be doing a similar thing in the future but our members seem to have enjoyed it very much. Feel free to check out the gallery here. Jim has graciously helped upload all of the images and is still working on getting them up to date.

And here I thought RMNP meant "Rocky Mountain National Park" and so wondered why their cover pages were shown here. My bad.
