For all the Arizona members of this forum, I'm looking into getting some fine art prints done. Any idea on where to go and who has good prices and top quality work? Any help would be greatly appreciated. I'm hoping to get them done before Christmas. Preferably someplace the mounts and frames as well.

Not an Arizona member here Peter but a lot of us use WHCC..White House Custom Color. They are very well priced, prints are high quality, and the service is extremely fast...you will have it 3 days after you upload it. Can't hep you with the mounting and framing part except to say a lot of us use a company called Duraplaq in Longmont, Colorado. They do a lot of different types of plaque mounting, etc. They have also recently started to do some pretty good printing and I use them as a one-stop shop. Perhaps Doug K. will see this and chime in..he is from AZ..

Thanks Jack, I'll have to look into them.

I would recommend Millers Imaging which is the parent company of MPix. I have found them to be the fastest. You can also sign up with Mpix who offer virtually the same products as Millers. ACI is also a good lab with excellent customer service and many product lines...I have used both in my portrait business for years....they all do an exellent job on my landscape work as well.

Check out West Coast Imaging. The prints I've received from them are stunning! Very high quality.

Thanks for the link Phillip, looks like they have pretty decent prices and options. Do you know by chance of anyone that offers prints on fuji crystal archive paper?

Peter, I've used Tempe Camera for some large canvas wraps (largest was 30x46") and they were impeccable. I wanted a local shop for something that big. The other print samples they had on display were quite nice, and they do matting and framing. Are you here in Phx?

I've also used all of the online providers mentioned above plus BayPhoto... I sent test prints to all of them and not one was a disappointment. The prints from BayPhoto on the Kodak Endura Metalic paper were stunning. All of these options will work!

Paul, I am in Scottsdale. Tempe camera was my first choice but I wanted to see what was around. I heard that colormark had closed down earlier this year so I didn't really have too many options to stay local.

Peter,
I cannot help you with the Phoenix area.

In Flagstaff, I have had Four Seasons do some printing. They also do framing. Pricing is not bad. Paper choice was limited.
Hidden Light would do a great job framing, but I do not know if they do digital printing. http://hiddenlightllc.com/
I had several images printed by Bay Photo on the Kodak Metallic, and Hidden Light did the mounting and laminating. I have seen several prints done on metal/aluminum with the glossy finish by Bay Photo, and they are very nice.

Peter,

West Coast Imaging will print on Fuji Crystal Archive:

Click on "Paper Choices".

They do, however, have a $250 minimum order policy.

Thank you Doug and Phillip, I'll have to figure out where to choose. That 250 is a bit steep for the moment, thought it would be a little less expensive.

If you are on PhotoShelter then they waive the $250 minimum.

WCI also has a sister company (same place and same people) called Aspen Creek Photo. They have no minimum and I suspect the quality is comparable. Check them out too.
