Over the course of 16 days Shenandoah NP transformed from a tapestry of color to a white wonderland when an uncommon snow storm hit in late October. In the snow could be seen hints of fall's remaining colors, with patches of color in the valleys and lower slopes remaining intact a good week later. As always I welcome your thoughts and suggestions! Here is a link to a few of those images in chronological order. http://www.edfuhr.com/gallery/shenandoah-2011/

Wow looks like you had every weather option imaginable to shoot in. Fog, snow, sunny clear skies, sweet! Hard to pick favorites. On your site, I like the flowing water in #4, the fog in the first image and the abstract nature of #9. Well done!

Wow, you have given me great hope! I'm moving back east to Tennessee next year and was thinking there wouldn't be a whole lot to shoot and this has proven me wrong. An awesome set of images Ed! I particularly like the fog shots and the waterfall image with the fall colors.

Beautiful images Ed, I like the image you posted here the best, just a great scene and wonderfully subtle color. The first 3 on would be my next picks, but all the rest are right up there, not a bad one in the bunch!

Wow, too many nice ones to talk about Ed, but suffice it to say that the snow shots and the fog shots all rock--the only one i dont particularly care for is the one you posted here, it looks oversaturated to me (not sure what Scott is seein ) Anyhow--sweet trip!

Nice color. Really like the light just hitting the trees in the foreground.
