I like the flow of the image, in fact I would love to see a zoomed in and cropped version of just their heads, it has that abstract sureal feel to it.

Nice capture Dan,
We had about a dozen fly into a lake at Eagle Trace golf course in broomfield the other morning. I was taking the kids to school and did not have my camera with me. I am shamed.

I saw 8-10 this morning in a small lake off 136th & York on my way to work this morning. I didn't have my camera and even if I did, I wouldn't be able to get images like Dan's... I couldn't take a good wildlife image even if they were collared and chained to a post.
Very nice work, Dan. I love the way they get into 'formation' for feeding. Despite the small size, the blue eye of one of the middle pelican's is eye-catching. They're fascinating to watch in formation.
