Owyhee Desert Sunset over the Bruneau River
The Owyhee Deseret is one of Idaho's great visual feasts.
If you want to avoid the crowds, this is the place. I enjoyed an afternoon exploring, noting the opportunities, they are almost endless. share your Owyhee images if you have any.

Looks like a great place to get away from it all! I don't know if you were looking for feedback on this image, but if so, I'd suggest a little more detail in the dark canyon and a little bit richer sky. Nicely composed!

Haven't ever been here myself, but it looks like a wonderful place. Definitely evokes a feeling of aloneness. This image reminds me a bit of the Black Canyon in Colorado, a place also under-appreciated photographically - and it's even a National Park. I dig the foreground rocks and sage. It would really pop nicely with just a bit darker sky. Would love to see more images from this desert!
Nice, Rohn! I agree with others about the sky, but I love the sunstar. That area is the top of my list of places I haven't yet been in Idaho. Sure do want to run those rivers!

Agree with the previous comments. Reminds me of Black Canyon of the Gunnison in Colorado. You might try adding a graduated filter to tone down the sky...then bring up the shadows a bit more.
