The Center
Just trying to poke around with the camera today after work, in the yard. Thought the center of this one was sorta attractive.

The center of the flower is definitely attractive. Since that was your intent, the center, maybe an image of just that.
BTW PNWNP is a really happening place lately. :frown:

I think this would be alot better if the background was different or cropped out all the way. It's just too distracting IMHO.

I agree, get that lens inside the flower !!! Nice shot and the forum will be busy since the sun is out and flowers are exploding all around us (as my wake ups at 4am to put on a filter mask due to heavy allergies can attest)....

Rick, I think we are thinking too much alike. I took a shot almost exactly like this on a whim just a day ago. And it came out similar to yours, of course. My shot suffers from the same problem as this one - too much on the outside and not enough on the inside. Next time I will use my 500D closeup adapter but what I really want is the Sigma 150 macro lens.
