Bonxie
Lots of these to choose from on Hermaness - as the evening light got better, this one came to the cliff edge and displayed each time another Bonxie flew by.

Taken at 9.30 in the evening !

Hello Graham.

Love the light and composition of bird displaying, the OOF cliffs in the background add a lot to this image and makes for a good setting.

Only comment would be the cloning in front of the bird is noticeable.

Nits aside, this is a great moment, I never saw a bonxie.

Excellent! I'm frustrated at my inability to see the cloning.

Super light, colours and composition, but the bg looks funny to me :toast: :toast:

Great capture and I have never seen one of these either. Also looking hard for the cloning, is it the arrow head shape just in front of the birds breast?

definitely best viewed large, I do like the wing flap and the open beak. Nicely taken.
