No, that's a bathtub of clouds--to get a sea you need to be higher up!

Rare mix of mist with warm light on the cliffs -- good find!

I like the shot, Todd. It brought back an old memory from when I was 13 years old. My family spent a night camping in the Great Smokies in mid-August. My Dad and I got up early and took a short hike down the road from the campground and saw a sight I've never seen repeated in the Smokies ever since. A solid layer of thick white fog lay in all the valleys in the park so that a few of the tallest mountains tops (tree covered, of course) stood above the fog like islands in a sea of fluffy white marshmallow. An unforgettable sight!
P.S. I didn't have a camera, and that lack spurred me into asking for a serious camera for Xmas later that year and, for me, that's where it all began.

The play of clouds and mountains never bores me. Thanks for sharing this.

I really like the morning light on the rocks and the frost on the trees in this Todd. Of course the clouds are terrific and they pull the scene together for me.

The scene has a nice visual "flow" to it with the circling clouds that works well for my eyes. Nice job.
