2 Aliens-- help me pick!
Ok, i reworked 2 of my comps form Lake Pueblo based on suggestions from Josh and Kane (thanks guys) Help me pick which survives the final cut--only one can survive! Here's #1, one i didnt post yet

I prefer #2 but I would crop out the sun and some off the right side for a tighter comp.

I'm with Phillip, #2 has better reflections

#2 for me Stan and please keep the sun.

number 2 ......... without the sun.

#2 as is sir! :toast:

I suppose #2. I do like #1 but those tree branches in the water at the bottom right distract my eye. The sun flare (three tiny blown out dots)in the water in #2 is a bit distracting to me. Holy Smokes I'm a Nitpicker! Keep the sun.

The second one, keep the sun, crop a bit from the right, clone the rock outta there.

#2 and crop right, lose the sun...

Stan, IMHO, #2 just the way it is. Terrific shot. Not to be argumentative with some of the others, but without that blue sun, it might as well be a B&W image.

Thanks, Howard--obviously i agree, or i wouldn't have used my bare fingers to shift my 24mm up in subzero weather
Ok--thanks, im a little surprised in the unanimous decision--i like the little wavelets in #1, but i can live without em.

I like #1 better as the brances are more asymmetrical rightside/leftside (although not as white and "furry"), and the underwater branches are a good lead. Might crop the bottom a little to rid the one LLC white bulb (or clone)

Stan, Take #1 and crop the right side so that the sun spot is exactly centered on the right vertical thirds line.
Just a thought...see what you think...

Number 2, keep the sun AND the rock. What did that poor rock ever do to you that it should be cloned out of existence?

#2 is my pick. Just seems to be a little bit more of a tighter, balanced comp to me. It works so much better now after the crop IMO than in its previous version!
