Stoat
I,ve seen this "dance " several times now but never had a camera. This happened a long long way off whilst in a snipe hide. The Stoat did its usual frantic running around chasing his tai and doing summersaults. At one time there were three moorhens going around in circles completely transfixed. He made a grab for the one in shot but missed !

About 25% of the frame. Lousy pic but interesting I thought.

I beg to differ John. Not a lousy pic. For me this is what I would love to be capturing with a camera . . . real behavioural images. So it's a large crop, so there is some grass obscuring the face. . . . . so what? It is still a great picture that really tells a tale. I love it.

I agree with Robert.........great shot of one of the fiercest predators in the world (pound for pound) trying to get its lunch. In Africa this would be a lion and an antelope but this is a much harder shot to get.

Yes, I agree, brilliant behaviour going on and the angle makes it a great shot too.
