Pima Light
Spent Saturday evening at Pima Point on the west rim drive at the Grand Canyon. Since there were no clouds in the sky for a sunset, I focused on the light hitting the canyon walls. Throughout the evening, the light and shape of this temple seemed to draw my attention.

#2 Walls of Light
I liked how the light came down the faces of these vertical walls.

#6 Earth shadow sky looking east past Hopi Point towards Cape Royal. (last one of the series)

As always, critique for improvement is welcome.

I really like the first one for the exaggeration of positive and negative space. Maybe take a sliver off the right?

I like how the winding ridge line takes you into #1.
When there is so much to choose from, it must have been fun selecting a composition.

Beautiful series!

Really like the comps in 1,4,5 in that order. These three tend to isolate the lines created by the contrasty shadows better than the others. I especially like that S-shaped contrast in 1.

Beautiful series Doug. I really like number three. Looks like flagstaff is gonna get a good dose of snow the next few days as well as the canyon. Hoping I have a few days off to head up. If not I'm sure you will capture the scenery for us.

Thank you for the comments.
Tom, the slight crop is good. Thanks.
Bill and Don, that curve of light is what kept me shooting that temple ridge. Is the blue too pervasive?
Peter, Wednesday afternoon may be good if the storm breaks as forecast.

1, 3 and 5 for me, Doug. That ridgeline in #1 is just fantastic. I can see warming it up a little to take some edge off the blue.

I agree with Jackson, I really like #3, and #1 second, but can see some warming of the shadows to reduce the blues might be a benefit. The leading lines on all of these are very well composed. I like the Earth shadow on the final image as well.
