CarShots is like NPN and PhotoPortfolios rolled into one featuring articles, discussion and photo critique forums, and a member gallery section. CarShots.net is intended for automotive enthusiasts to show off their cars, vans, trucks, SUVs and motorcycles, as well as for those with an interest in car photography.

Back after and during a long bout of grueling work and other inconvenient life items to find this! Very exciting! I love great car photography, attempt to shoot some myself and am looking forward to a great new site!

Lee, I became a high-performance car enthusiast in my early teens, and owned such a car (a 1966 Mustang convertible, of which I have single photo that a friend of mine gave me at the time) long before I ever developed an interest in photography. The responsibilities of marriage and fatherhood kept me in some very "pedestrian" vehicles for a very long time, but I had always remained an "enthusiast." It's only been more recently that I could begin enjoying it all again. So in combination with my photography interests, I guess CarShots.net was inevitable.
I look forward to seeing your photos!

John, one thing to keep in mind is that car enthusiasts are not usually nature photography enthusiasts - that's just the way it is. However, the number of automotive forums and sites on the Internet is astounding, and many of those auto enthusiasts are now just buying digital P&S cameras and posting photos of their vehicles on those forums.
It will no doubt take some time to get rolling, but I think CarShots will be a worthy (and fun) endeavor in the long run.
