I knew of at least a hundred photographers headed to San Francisco to photograph the eclipse with the Golden Gate Bridge. I have had a theme going with the moon and Pigeon Point Lighthouse for several years so I thought I would try my luck there. Besides arriving a little later than expected all went well until the moon dissappeared into the fog.
I Posted this in the landscape gallery (Lon has moved it to Man and Nature), but thought I'd post it here for the California gang.

I am liking the way it fades into the fog. Into the nothingness.

Fascinating image, Paul. Including the lighthouse in the frame adds a wonderful touch, and shows a connection between us and the greater universe.
