Why not give it a try? This is an interesting comp with some terrific light. Especially if you want to know what people think of it, yeah, put it up in an IC gallery!

I think you should too, the light on the rock is lovely; I'd be tempted to lighten up the background a bit first. I really like how the ferns curve downward.
