Bandon Lighthouse
This is a retake of a silhouetted image of the Bandon Lighthouse I shot a few years back. I've always wanted to get this with a full frame camera to incorporate more of the old pier posts along the river. This time I was treated to a blazing afterglow for a few moments. There were spots of sea weed shifting and rolling with the current during the exposure. Thanks for taking a look!

Canon 5D Mark II

I remember this. I like it, but if i remember right, the tide last time was up all around the pilings?

Very nice indeed, love the colors Ned. I think this is better then your original shot (so can I have the other one?)
Very well done!

Oh,my! This is lovely, Ned! The seaweed actually adds some nice texture to the foreground water, and the colors are so soothing and warm. Can just feel the day quieting down into slumber. If this is a working light, would've been nice to catch it in the tower... But I don't see a lamp in there...

Thanks, all.. I wish it were working still, but the lantern room is dark now. Attached is the first shot I took a few years ago...

The first thing I noticed was the "V" shape in the middle left right above the silhouette. I would probably remove that, but other than that a beautiful image. Nicely done!
