An otter in the bush is worth . . . . . . . .
. . . . . getting out of bed for!!

I was lucky enough to get fairly near to an otter at my local site this morning. Unfortunately, it was early, it was dark and the otter was only visible through some obscuring cover so once again not a very aesthetically pleasing shot. However, it is another step closer to getting some decent images (hopefully)

Well done Robert. You don't see many lowland Otter shots.

Judging by the width of the head looks like a dog otter and there appears to be a well worn path on the river bank so some early mornings may be productive at that spot! I like it even with the OOF branches.....gives a feeling of actually hiding in the vegetation. Quite noisy but it is ISO 1600.

an impressive record shot Robert, keep at it. It must have been quite something to get such a good view of an otter.
