Here is a shot of a snowy egret taken at city park in July. Lots of birds at the park in the summer. This guy flew to within 20 feet of me and started fishing in the shallow water. I got a nice series of shots before he flew off. This is the best of the bunch.

I see you were successful at not blowing out the white feathers!
I like the blue and white, but the shade of blue doesn't seem to be quite right on my monitor. Maybe a little too saturated?

Thanks for the comments Tom they are appreciated. The lake is pretty shallow on that side and somewhat murky, which I thinks caused the different color. I did not do much saturation on this shot. I will revisit the raw file and see if your observation is correct. Thanks again.

Larry, Good exposure on the white feathers. The oof green vegetation along the bottom edge catches the eye. Maybe a little crop and clone of it and the tail feather? Looks like he was too close to shore to get a full reflection.

I agree with Doug's comments. The out of focus elements on the bottom of the image are distracting and a crop would do no harm since the full reflection isn't present anyway.

Great detail in the whites. Very sharp as well, agree about cropping the bottom. Love going there in the Summer. Lots of birds.

Thanks Doug, Joshua and Dan: Comments appreciated and taken to heart. I will reprocess the image and either clone out or crop out the out OOF leaves.
