A 20 second exposure capturing river water running through ice barriers.
Wishing everyone a wonderful Holiday Season! (And some great shooting too)

A wonderful abstract, Jeremy.
I'd consider triming off the ice at the top. The warm colors and details draw my eye immediately to the top.
Plus, I like the greater simplicity of the image with just the four fingers of ice. Just a thought.

Quite interesting. Good shapes and contrast between hard ice and "soft" water. I was thinking about a topcrop, then I read Bill's post.

Personally, I would like a bit more DOF and sharpness rather than the crop. Obviously you can't correct the DOF, so I suppose a top crop is in order. I really think that 3rd ice finger needs to be sharp as a tack, then fade away to the 4th finger.

I like the tight crop ideas. The fourth barrier or "finger" is so out of focus to me I would just crop it off too leaving the three barriers with the best DOF. They have the best ice formations anyway.
