Hi,

Not a Dorset rarity this time but one from this time last year in Majorca.

Not tried a great deal of 'slow shutter speed type' flight shots before so would appreciate any comments as to whether this particular one does or doesn't work.

I do miss that turquoise sea

All comments always welcome and appreciated.

It works for me Justin, but the purists here may argue

I find this technique is brilliant when other people do it but I struggle with it :frown:

Works well for me, Justin. Just the right amount of blur to give an impression, but still rendering the subjects clearly identifiable. I like the arrangement of the birds in the frame, and, as you say, that sea as a backdrop is great!

Hi Justin

Love the colours and composition. Normally I like something in the image to be sharp but I must admit I find this image pleasing to the eye!

Hi Justin
A good effort,The sea looks great and the birds nicely positioned,I would have liked the birds heads to be abit sharper but i know how difficult this type of shot is-90% there

Hi Justin,

Not to much to worry about here matey

This image shows great technique, you have just the right amount of movement with the birds lovely and sharp on the head, and that lovely sea really does make for a great image.

Well Done

Regards

I like it, different and very effective, the composition is fine for me and the water provides a superb backdrop
