Bosque update
If you plan on going to Bosque I would advise calling ahead for a condition report. Was there last week and found most of the ponds to be frozen over and preventing the birds from roosting in the typical spots for sunrise shots. It has been abnormally cold and snowy for this time of year which presented some challenges for capturing images. I am posting 6 images shot on the last day when we finally had some light and sunrise colors.

Great shooting and captures Bob: Thanks for sharing and for the weather warning. I have been thinking about slipping down there for a few days and now I will really watch the local weather before planning a trip. #6 is so good it almost looks like clone job. All I can say is wow!

The #4 sunrise image is especially striking to me. It shows the cranes in their environment with some incredible light. It's an image that shows the best of both the landscape and wildlife worlds. #1 is a strong image to me too with the nice mountain background.
