Garden of the Gods this morning...
Got up early with hopes of catching a nice sunrise in the Garden of the Gods with a fresh blanket of snow. Unfortunately (or maybe not) it was still snowing when I got there, so no pretty sunrise colors. I decided to walk along some of the paths that were still undisturbed to see what I could get.
Kind of hard to tell where the snow ends and sky begins, but that's pretty much how it looked out there this morning...

Another one...I liked how the fence snaked it's way through the frame.

I like both of these a lot Bob! Perhaps a B and W conversion on both since the sky didn't cooperate?

Cool! I could have told you it would still be snowing, Bob (so could my employer's website for that matter  ) I just finished digging out, hope to make it out tomorrow!

Yeah, I know Stan....but if I didn't get out there, I'd have had this nagging feeling that I missed a good opportunity!

I really like that second one! Well worth the effort!

The fence in that second one is pure poetry, Bob.

Thanks Todd, Ann and Pam!
Pam, I might just give a B&W conversion a try...

To me the washed out sky is no problem since it adds to the snowy scene and creates a pleasing high-key effect on both photos. B&W might be cool to see, but I like the color too. The curvy fence on #2 is awesome.

Love how you captured the fence in both compositions.

I'd like to see a B&W version of these. Of the two, I prefer the second due to the fence leading you into the scene.
