First Place: Congratulations to Matthew Lippert for his first image of a sun-splashed wintery Helvetia countryside.

1st Honorable Mention: Craig Strand for an amazing shot of a male Hooded Merganser.

2nd Honorable Mention: Dean Huggins for his colorful Lake Coeur D Alene area scene.

As we've noted, it is tough to single out the winner (literally the toughest part of moderating). We loved every shot entered. Thanks to everyone who participated!

I took this image at Cape Kiwanda on a stormy morning and used some Nik Filters to give it a surreal look.
