Klear and visibility unlimited would certainly describe the air above Home Valley on Christmas Eve morning. This was taken along highway 16 looking south, with the big plume of steam coming from Arkansas Nuclear One some 45 miles away. A very quiet and peaceful scene, one I thought well-suited for B&W.
Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas, and may you have a happy and prosperous 2012!
Absolutely beautiful b&w !!!
This image is spot on.

Hey Bill, Great shot. The b&w and pano work well with it. We also had a clear and bright holiday time. I just didn't get out to take advantage of it. Family overwhelmed the days.....
Happy New Year !

Expertly composed, like always, and I really like the play of shadows on the hillsides here. Beautiful scene and well suited to b/w. Happy Holidays Bill!

Beautiful Bill, hard to believe you can see the plume from Nuclear One that far away! 11 frame stitch, man that must have some pixels!

Very nice Bill. I can see the steam plume from my home. It just looks better from your vantage point!
