OT- humble horn toot
I'm extremely humbled and proud to be honored with a first place in the Birds professional category of the 3rd Annual Audubon Magazine Photo Awards.

Thanks to the kind words I received on this image when I posted it on this forum in February, I was encouraged to enter the contest.
I'm floored to land a first place and be included among some really amazing images in this contest.

The winning photos are featured in the Jan-Feb 2012 edition of Audubon Magazine, which should be hitting newsstands any moment. (If there are any left after I get there)

Here's the winning image (which is also available as a screen saver on the Audubon.org site)

Congrats! That's a great award to win and a fine image that looks a bit like something James Audubon would paint. :toast:
