Another from my Velvia on 645N collection from Fall of 2010. This was one of those perfect road trips to the San Juans where every direction had spectacular color. In particular, the oaks were every shade of red, orange, bronze, and yellow. I like the oak colors better than aspen.
Post processing was pretty easy on this one. A bit of desaturation to bring the brown tinge back to the red oak leaves, and some local contrast enhancement in the mountains to deal with bluish haze.
I am having issues with working on two monitors. If I process on the full-gamut, large-screen colors are vibrant, but when I look at the same thing on my laptop screen, the image is washed out.
Pentax 645N with 200mm (135mm equiv) on Velvia 100.

Hint: Don't look at it on your laptop screen.
This is a pretty standard issue shot of an incredibly beautiful place, Tom, and it totally works. There seems to be a strong magenta or red cast throughout, however, and I think this could be helped by bringing it back closer to neutral.

The sharpness and clarity of the image appear immaculate. The sky seems a bit nondescript, whether some color appears on a wide-gamut monitor or not, you were limited by the shooting situation you had. However, this is a nice shot from a beautiful spot.
