Thank-you Marc and Eva!

After many years of inspiring us with his photos and helping us with his critiques, Marc Adamus is retiring from being a NPN Landscape Gallery moderator. Please join me in a round of applause for Marc's contributions!

Stepping up to fill his shoes is Eva McDermott, who has been a co-moderator in the NPN Man & Nature Gallery. We have no doubt that Eva will make her mark in the famous NPN Landscape gallery. Thanks Eva for stepping up to take on this new role!

Thanks Marc for your participation and inspiration. Thanks to you Eva for moving over. >=))>

to both of them for their efforts!

Thanks, Marc.
Eva! Be great to have your input under the Moderator's hat in Landscape. Good for you!

Thanks Marc for your faithful service, and welcome aboard Eva - looking forward to working with you!

Thanks Jim but I doubt I could ever fill Marc's shoes. I wear a women's size 8.5 ...... but seriously, I have admired Marc's breathtaking work since 2007 when I ran across it on another site (Marc may even be the reason how I found NPN) and I have been enamored with the stunning beauty of America's wilderness areas that Marc captures like no other. All the best Marc in your adventures of capturing that pristine wilderness that few really have the opportunity to or fortitude and stamina to capture. Your body of work is...... truly magnificent...... but no words can really describe it. You have to see it. Thank you for the inspiration. Thank you too for the many truthful critiques on my work. I hope I can live up to that standard you have set. Thank you Marc. Sorry to see you leave as moderator. Just hope you still post here time to time since the site won't be the same without you.

I second Bill Chambers' post:

Thanks Marc for your faithful service, and welcome aboard Eva - looking forward to working with you!

It was Marc's "Light in Motion" shot that I came across in 2005 (like Eva, I saw it elsewhere and it got me HERE) that catapulted me into serious nature and landscape study (full story in Roadkill Forum). Seems a bit small to just say "thanks" here after all I've gotten from ESS, but I truly am thankful Marc!

Eva, the torch passes to you and I doubt there's a shooter on this site that won't be pulling for ya!

Happy new year gang...

Thanks so much to Marc who has been an inspiration to so many. I hope you will still be posting your amazing images here.

Welcome to Eva who is a perfect choice for a Landscape moderator.

Hope you keep posting, Marc. Your images always get me thinking about things in new ways.

Marc, Thank you very much for your long time service and moderator and for the inspiration and motivation you've provided to countless members of NPN and beyond. I wish you continued success in your endeavors!

And welcome aboard Eva! I know you will be a great asset to the team and we look forward to you helping us continue to make the Landscape Gallery one of the best places on the web for nature and landscape photography.

Thanks to ALL who have participated in 2011 and we look forward to a great 2012!
