I've been trying to create more abstract compositions periodically, and this late morning reflection at Smith Rock (taken last week when sunshine and calm winds were abundant) is one I liked. I'm interested in further suggestions for processing. The grass at the bank is frosty, hence the washed out color there. Any suggestions?

I like it! I think the blue sky and reflection really make the image!

Marylynne,
Nice S-curve and reflections. If it was my image I would tone down the bright highlights on the trees, open up the shadows a bit and bump up the color temperature to warm up the shadows.
Thanks, Ned and Phil. Here is a new version with a slightly tighter crop, some contrast and exposure adjustments and some color temperature adjustment (about 1.5k). Is this better? It was a very high contrast scene, so I'm not sure I can lift the shadows more, nor would it add much (just scrubby juniper).

Marylynne,
Nice work! I like how the grasses on both sides of the golden reflection now complement each other along with the bright sun on the junipers..
