We are pleased to announce that Scott Lanz is the new moderator for the Macro/Close-up gallery. Scott is a regular contributor to the gallery and a great photographer too.

On behalf of the NPN membership, welcome aboard Scott! :toast:

Our thanks as well to Mike Moats for his years of contributions to the macro gallery. He undoubtedly helped and inspired many members! :toast:

Jim, thank you for the honor of joining the great staff at NPN. I am very much looking forward to contributing to Macro/Close-up in this new capacity.

Scott, Congratulations. Great Choice, I must say.

I will make it a point to post more in the Macro Gallery in 2012. Sad to see you lose to the management though :razz:

Ram, Albert: Thank you. It would be great to have you as well as some of the other flora photographers sharing their close-up images and insightful comments with the Macro gallery. :toast:

Scott, congratulations, and please do continue posting your wonderful work in Flora, as well. I know a lot of the close-up Flora work could be in Macro, as well, so it will be interesting to see how it all develops.
