Waterfall on the West Fork
A waterfall on the West Fork of the Trinity River in Fort Worth, Texas. This waterfall is basically unknown in town and so imagine how stunned I was to find it in a city park. None of the 200+ photographers I know in town know about it. I guess it shows you do need to explore where you live.

See more images and a longer story on my blog.

And one of me on the falls for context. This is a good ten foot drop.

I still do not know how it is no one goes here, but I know I will be!

Sweet, what a great find Darren. Love the mist/fog rising off the falls and subtle pastel colors.

Nice shot for a downtown location. This looks like a place to keep going back to in the seasons. I like the first shot as a pano - it shows well.

Wow, what a beautiful find Darren. This will only get better with a little color in the trees. Nice sky too!

Great capture Darren. Maybe you should name this area, it might stick!
