Red Kite & A Happy New Year

Hi,

As 2011 draws to a close and we look forward to a great 2012 it is time, perhaps, to look back, this image is from earlier in the year and probably the last time we stayed at my mothers when she was to all appearances well.

I had images in mind and wanted to escape the usual bird against the sky images, I was quite pleased to succeed a couple of times.

Fond memories of those who are not with us anymore....

A very Happy New Year to all... May 2012 bring you success on all counts...

Phil this looks very good to me if i have a very tiny nit it is the light patch above the birds head that said i wish it was mine.

It was this time last year that my father passed away and the last thing we did together was visit Gigrin. This image is a timely reminder for me.
