Morning in the Gorge
Tim "The Tick" Goodspeed, Ned, Rick and I spent the morning photographing at Rowena today. The flowers are looking good but the hillside east and south of the Overlook caught my eye.

70-200mm @ 105, 1/8sec @ f/9

Mark, no additional ticks. I think the final count was 3 for me and 2 for you.

This is quite nice. I like the color and detail. I might try cropping down from the top to the bottom of that big tree in the upper right, I think it is a bit distracting.

I had a great time. Thanks again for letting me tag along and pick up tips....I mean ticks.

Mark,
Thanks for playing tour guide today. The flowers are looking fairly nice...but the light was kinda harsh.
I think this one is swell. I like Tim's suggestion of the crop....but that light is looking perty nice dude.

Guess I was looking the wrong way this morning.. I really like the arrangements of trees there. Very nice layers with equally nice light!! Good one, Mark..

Yea,
I didn't go out with you guys today because Rick said you were staying from sunrise and sunset. Then he said he was home at 4:30. I should have known. Anyway I slept until eight and then slept again from 10:30to 12:30. Mark this is a cool shot. Ya have the layers and light working for you here nicely. I would have known this was yours if it was randomly pulled out of a hat. :wavey:
