National Park Ranger Killed at Mt Rainier

I am bummed. Just read this. I go up to the park often and always enjoy a chat with the rangers I meet on the trail or in the parking lot.

Bummed. Prayers for her family...she was just 34 yrs old with 2 young kids.

To me that's one of the hardest things to hear, when a husband and kids lose their wife/mom, especially to such a senseless act by some anger-filled sick individual. :frown: Says he was unloading rounds at several rangers. They HAVE to catch that guy.

I heard this on the news yesterday. Very sad indeed. Sounds like he's a sniper type with an assault weapon and an ammo cache and bp vest in his car. Utterly senseless.
