Their superb photos of the birds of the Mississippi Delta grace this year's Barataria-Terrebone National Estuary Program and Nicholls State University.

The photos include Ronnie's wonderful Purple Gallinule.

A highly deserved honor for them both. I'm delighted to own one of Ronnie's spectacular prints. It gives me inspiration...

Hey Jim,

How in the world did you stumble across the calendar? The BTNEP is a great organization working to preserve and restore the Louisiana coastline. They put out a very high quality calendar every year. It contains a lot of detailed information about the habitat along with the beautiful images. Its also great to see that Ronnie's work lives on.

Thanks for recognition,

David

BTW,,,,,click on this link to order one or to get a pdf version (this is the first time I get the cover shot).

David -

I get a copy of the BTNEP calendar in the mail each year. I'm not sure if it's my involvement with Alaska Conservation Foundation, Nancy's having been executive director of Alaska Bird Observatory or sheer good luck. But they mail me one each year. Some year soon I will bird the wonderful places described in this year's calendar.

It's always a pleasure to see your work.

Outstanding, and congratulations! I suspect Ronnie's excellent work will be published (and appreciated) for many years to come.
