Photos by NPN members and RMNP contributors Phillip Noll and Doug Roane were among those selected for the 2011 Editor's Pick Awards. This is a great accomplishment since winning photos must first be chosen as Weekly Picks from among all Gallery entries and editors chose yearly winners from only that select company.
Phillip was recognized as the 1st Place Winner for the Weekly Challenge Gallery for an image of an evening thunderstorm in the Grand Canyon.
Doug was recognized as the 1st Honorable Mention for the Man & Nature Gallery for an image of summer storm clouds over a south-central Montana field.
Congratulations to Phillip and Doug! Be sure to check out their photos and those from the other winners in the 2011 Editor's Pick Awards Gallery.
