Happpy New Year to you all. This young fox is one of the many foxes who live in a nature reserve in the western part of Holland. They are being fed regularly, so accustomed to people and fairly approachable. This one was resting in the grass along a canal. I positioned myself in front of him and made several photo's from a low point of view. After a while the fox yawned and I was able to take this shot. Perhaps not to everyone's liking, but I love "mushy" foregrounds and I'm quite happy with the result. Comments and critiques are welcome and much appreciated.

Hello Sandra.
It must be real scary to be a Mouse lookind at this.I really do like this fine looking Fox coming out of the" mushy" forground maybe a tad of the bottom? it is an excellent image.

Superb shot Sandra ........you can really see those fangs can't you? My own taste would be to loose some of the mush possibly to where the legs would be but as I say that is my own preference. I would be VERY happy with this shot.

An excellent shot. I hope it didn't have bad breath.

Cracking shot Sandra but just a little to much mush at the bottom for me. I wonder if a square crop would work on this image

I think it is stunning and would leave just as is. The extra blurred FG really extenuates the POV
